SUMMARY:Affirmation Station - Downtown
DESCRIPTION:Our bodies deserve respect\, care\, and autonomy\, not objectification. Your body doesn’t have to be seen as sexual to be worthy of appreciation and respect. Bodies aren’t sexual by default. They’re personal\, complex\, and deserving of respect. Sexual meaning comes from choice and context\, not assumption. Stop by our Affirmation Station to learn more about the benefits of self-affirmation and reflect on what you appreciate about your body. Please contact Campus Health/The Well for Health Promotion at whp@tulane.edu at least two weeks in advance of the event if you have accessibility needs and need a disability-related accommodation to participate.
